The Dublin Hurling squad have been fulsome in their praise for Anthony Daly who resigned as manager last night.
The Boys in Blue believe Daly and his backroomers helped steer the Dubs to a period of unprecedented success in the modern era including a first League title since 1939 and a first Leinster title in 52 years.
In a statement released today, the Dublin Senior Hurling squad acknowledge that Daly left the game in the capital in a far stronger state than when he arrived despite the disappointment of their exit in the quarters this year.
And believe Daly helped develop a real sense of self belief in Dublin hurling which'll stand to the county in the future.
