Ireland will be without second row Donnacha Ryan for the November Internationals.
Munster confirmed today that the second row will require surgery on the toe injury that has kept him out of action since last March.
He looks set to miss at least 10 rounds of Munster's Pro12 league campaign.
Ryan missed most of Ireland's victorious Six Nations 2014 campaign through injury.
