Novak Djokovic has won the Rome Masters after beating Rafa Nadal 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 today.
Djokovic needed just two hours and 19 minutes to get past the world number one.
Today's win is the fourth on the trot over Nadal for the Serb.
This year's French Open, where Nadal is eight-time champion, begins on Sunday.
Despite his daunting record in Paris, the Spaniard might not return as favourite this time after Djokovic's spectacular performance in Rome.
It is the first time since 2004 that Nadal, who was beaten in the quarter-finals in Monte Carlo and Barcelona, has lost more than two matches on clay in a season.
