David Silva is out of Manchester City's derby clash with Manchester United on Sunday.
The Spaniard suffered a knee injury in their league cup defeat to Newcastle on Wednesday.
He's now expected to miss at least 3 weeks of action.
That sees him miss Sunday’s derby as well as City’s crucial Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow next Wednesday.
He’s also in a race to be fit for City’s Champions League tie against Bayern Munich at the end of November.
