The FAI has confirmed that all players and staff have tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier against Serbia.
Testing took place yesterday on arrival into camp in Manchester before Wednesday's game.
Stephen Kenny's Republic of Ireland squad will train today before flying out to Belgrade for their opening game in Group A.
"The Football Association of Ireland can confirm that all players and staff tested negative for COVID-19 ahead of the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier against Serbia," Irish football's governing body announced in a statement.
Kenny admits tight COVID-19 protocols have been tough on players this season.
“I am aware that players are having difficulty. I understand that.
“Some players have gone on loan to clubs and it’s just their personal circumstances, they live on their own in apartments.
“It’s not like before where you go into the building, have breakfast, stay around and go training, the gym, then lunch and you’re there all day.
“Now you don’t go to the changing room, you go straight to the pitch and you train, you get a packed lunch and you go back to your flat or apartment and you’re there all day and all night on your own.
“You’re not supposed to interact with anyone not in your bubble. How long does the bubble exist, a year or two?
“Does that mean you can’t interact with anyone for a year or two? There are a lot of grey areas."
