A replay will be needed to decide the All-Ireland hurling final for the third year in-a-row.
Kilkenny and Tipperary played out a stunning draw at Croke Park yesterday in the decider.
Both sides took healthy leads at different stages in the game, with Kilkenny looking like they would claim a 35th title late on, as they led by 4 with less than 10 minutes to play.
But Tipperary staged a late comeback to level the game.
And they could even have won it right at the death.
It took Hawkeye to decide that John O'Dwyer's last gasp free, which would have won the game for Tipp, had gone just wide.
It meant a classic final goes to a replay, as the game ended Kilkenny 3-22, Tipperary 1-28.
The replay is set for the 27th of September.
