Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Ajax for a summer move for Hakim Ziyech.
Der Telegraaf claims that the clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €45million for the Moroccan international forward.
Ziyech was a key member of the Ajax side that reached last season's semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League and has a contract tying him to the Amsterdam side until 2022.
Ajax currently sit top of the Eredivisie, with Ziyech having found the net six times with the 26-year old providing a handsome total of 13 assists.
The Dutch paper say that Chelsea wanted to sign Ziyech in the January transfer window, but Ajax Football Director Marc Overmars blocked any senior players from leaving mid-season.
Overmars spoke in December about capitalising on players' "best-before date". With that in mind, the former Arsenal winger also seemed open, or even resigned, to a Ziyech departure saying, "Hakim I often thought had reached his ceiling, but every season he takes another step.
"I sometimes say to him: 'You can become Mister Ajax. Why would you leave?' But if you're honest: Hakim is 27 years old, at its best.
"If he can make the step he has in mind, then we could do it."
Ziyech had previously been linked with the likes of Roma, but a move away suited neither him nor his agent Mustapha Nakhli.
