Liverpool and Chelsea have earned away wins in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side beat Belgian champions KRC Genk 4-1 at the Luminus Arena.

Genk had chance to trouble Liverpool but a goal in each half from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had the visitors in control.

Sadio Mane made sure of the result when he swept in a third after a build-up involving all of Liverpool's fabled front-three.

And Mo Salah marked his return to the team with the fourth on 86 minutes. Stephen Odey also netted a late consolation for Genk.

However, Napoli stay top of Group E after beating RB Salzburg 3-2 in Austria. The Italian side are top on seven points, with Liverpool one behind.

Chelsea subsequently leapfrog Ajax in Group H on head-to-head results, although they are both level on six points.

Valencia's 1-1 draw at Lille leaves the La Liga side fourth, two points adrift.
