The well travelled English-born, Turkey international Colin Kazim-Richards has sealed a move to Celtic on transfer deadline day.

The Scottish Premiership champions needed a replacement for Nadir Ciftci who was loaned out to Eskisehirspor until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old striker has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Hoops, making the switch from Feynoord with whom he has scored 4 goals in 16 appearances this season.

The former Blackburn Rovers and Galatasaray player has hit over 50 goals in more than 350 club appearances across spells in England, Turkey, France, Greece and the Netherlands.

He joins teenage Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts who moved to Parkhead on loan for 18 months after he was restricted to just three sub appearances with the Premier League club this season.

Both men join manager Ronny Deila's other January transfer window signing, Denmark defender Erik Sviatchenko who featured in the League Cup semi-final defeat to Ross County.
