Celtic have been knocked out of the Champions League at the play off stage.
The Bhoys have failed to make the group stages, after going down 1-0 last night to Maribor at Parkhead.
It means the Slovenian side won the play-off tie 2-1 overall.
It’s the second time in a month Celtic have been knocked out of the Champions League.
They lost their last round tie to Legia Warsaw 6-1 on aggregate, only to be reinstated after Legia fielded a suspended player.
The Polish side were unhappy with Celtic in the aftermath of UEFA’s punishment.
And they made it clear that they still harbour a grudge, with a tweet from their official account after last night’s game simply reading #footballwon.
The Scottish champions will now have to make do with a place in the Europa League.
