Celtic look on course to reach the knockout stages of the Europa League.

They're still unbeaten in their Group, but they had a tough night last night.

They edged past Romanian side Astra 2-1 at Parkhead, with all of the goals coming in the last 20 minutes.

The Romanians dominated much of the game, but failed to take advantage.

Celtic took the lead when Stefan Scepovic headed in his first goal for the club, before Stefan Johansen netted the second.

Gabriel Enache got one back for Astra, but Celtic held firm to take the 3 points.

That sees them top Group D on 7 points after three games, level with Red Bull Salzburg.

Tottenham remain unbeaten in Group C, after steamrolling past Greek side Asteras Tripolis 5-1 last night at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane struck a hat-trick, while Erik Lamela netted a brace in the win.

Kane then ended the night in goal after Hugo Lloris was red carded and Spurs had used all of their subs.

The striker conceded, allowing Jeronimo Barrales' free kick squirm under his body.

Meanwhile, Aiden McGeady played most of the match for Everton, as they were held to a scoreless draw away to Lille.

The Irish international missed the Toffees' best chance in the second half.

But the result sees Everton stay top of Group H, with 5 poinst from their opening three games.
