It might have been a year to forget in Europe for Celtic, but the Hoops remain on course to retain their Scottish Premiership title.
It wasn't all plain sailing today however, as Hearts defended valiantly and managed to get to the break at 0-0.
At times, it seemed that it wasn't to be Celtic's day, until Scott Brown set up Kris Commons who fired the ball past Jamie MacDonald in the Hearts goal in the 64th minute.
Hearts then sprang into life and looked dangerous. The points were only secured in injury time as James Forrest added a second for the Hoops.
Celtic have now won their last five league games and remain unbeaten in all 16 Scottish Premiership matches.
