Brian O'Driscoll won the Championship with Ireland but he's had to settle for second place in the Player of the Championship stakes.
BOD finished as runner up with 28 per cent of the online poll with his fellow Irish Andrew Trimble, Jonny Sexton and Rob Kearney in 3rd, 4th and 5th places.
The winner was England's Mike Brown who notched four tries and ended up getting 34 per cent of the public vote.
