It was a bore draw at St. Mary's to wrap up the weekend's Premier League action.
But visitors West Ham will have keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen to thank for helping to snatch
a point in their 0-0 draw with Southampton. The Hammers keeper performed heroics to shut the Saints out and was rightly awarded the man
of the match. Both sides have only managed 4 goals between them in a total of 8 games.

James McCarthy made his Everton debut in a 1-0 win against Chelsea. A Steven Naismith header just before half-time proved the difference between the sides. Irish midfielder McCarthy came on as a second-half sub at Goodison.

Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney scored to give David Moyes his first win at
Old Trafford against 10-man Crystal Palace.
Sunderland piled the pressure on Arsenal after a Craig Gardener penalty had levelled
matters at the Stadium Of Light. But an Aaron Ramsey brace sealed a 3-1 win for the Gunners who had led through Olivier
Giroud's first-half strike. Debutant Mesut Ozil crossed for the Frenchman and went off to a standing ovation from
the visiting fans.
There was a double also for Spurs midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson. It was Paulinho and new boy Christian Eriksen with the assists to help the home side to
a 2-0 win against Norwich. Man City remain winless on the road after a scoreless draw at Stoke - Stephen Ireland
made his debut as a sub there for the Potters. It's two league wins on the trot for Newcastle. Hatem Ben Arfa and Yoan Gouffran scored either side of a Christian Benteke equaliser to
win the 3 points at Aston Villa. Fulham were heading for 3 points against struggling West Brom 1-0 thanks to a rare Steve
Sidwell strike. But Gareth McAuley popped up with an equaliser at Craven Cottage in the 93rd minute to
make it 1-1 in the end. Peter Whittingham grabbed an equaliser to earn a point for Cardiff at the KC Stadium against
Hull who had led through Curtis Davies.
