The IRFU are confident Jonny Sexton will be ok for Ireland's first Autumn test against South Africa.
The Dubliner lasted just 40 minutes for Racing Metro at the weekend before being replaced.
Irish team manager Mick Kearney revealed Sexton's early departure was pre-arranged despite the fact he felt a tightness in his thigh.
The outhalf was expected to train with the squad today.
Rory Best is a doubt with a tight calf and will be monitored closely this week as will front row partner Mike Ross.
Ross has been out of action with a groin complant since the Leinster Munster match a month ago.
The tighthead took a light part in Friday's open session and will be gradually brought into full training this week.
Kearney was asked if his lack of match practice is a concern
Gordon D'Arcy, Rob Kearney and Jack McGrath will all train fully this week.
