If all goes well this weekend, we could be looking at an all-Irish final in the European Champions Cup this season.
Leinster face Scarlets at Aviva Stadium on Saturday before Munster make the trip to France to take on Racing 92 for a place in the May 12th decider in Bilbao.
Leinster and Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll joined Dave to preview those fixtures and talk through the teams' chances of setting up an all-Irish final.
And he's quietly confident that Munster can get the result they need.
"I always liked their chances, I always did. I think they're a vastly improved team on last year," he said of Munster.
"The personnel may not have changed massively but I think tactically they've gotten an awful lot better. I think they've got Keatley playing very well and Conor Murray playing the best rugby of his life and they don't know when they're beaten."
He added: "I like Munster down there. They won't be afraid of Racing. They've played them four times over the last two years - 3-1 in that in wins."
And the prospect of an all-Irish final is something BOD would relish even just for the anticipated tactical battle.
"It would be so interesting to see the two Irish provinces in the final from a tactical perspective because there would be such huge nervousness knowing each other so well and that's why I hope it does happen because it would be really interesting to see tactically who is going to be able to come out on top," he said.
