Bobs Worth ended the year on a high after winning the Grade 1 Lexus chase at Leopardstown today.
He could only finish in sixth place in his return last month at Haydock, but stepped up significantly today as last year's gold cup winner nicked the win, just ahead of first Lieutenant.
Bobs Worth was joint favourite with Sir Des Champs at 11/4.
The win will now certainly make Bobs Worth one of the favourites for this year's Gold Cup.
