Andy Noonan believes Bluebell United's upcoming FAI Cup Quarter Final with Shamrock Rovers is "the biggest game in the clubs history".

Bluebell are hopeful they will have home advantage when the sides will meet on the weekend ending September 10th. Their most previous cup game against Cabinteely had to be switched from their home venue to Cabo's, as Capco Park was not up to the FAI's standards.

The Bluebell United manager feels everything should be fine for the quarter final "It was unfortunate that we had to switch to Cabinteely. There was an issue in relation to shower facilities for officials, and by the time we had the resolution on that, we missed the window so we were forced to switch it".

"We had provisions in place that if we got a home draw we would be able to tick the relevant boxes, so we're very hopeful the draw will take place at home".

Andy Noonan is excited at the prospect of welcome a team of Rovers quality to Capco Park, and the cash windfall it's likely to provide "It'll be the biggest game in the club's history. To have Shamrock Rovers to visit Bluebell for the quarter final - financially, days like this give clubs a massive boost".

The manager also says he doesn't want his side to lose focus on their main objectives in the Leinster Senior League "It's just into the next round. I know it's the quarter finals of the FAI Senior Cup, but we have to stay a little bit grounded because our season's only started as well and we don't want to get distracted from our main objective, which is the league".
