Plans for a multi-purpose development, including 198 apartments has been approved in South Dublin.
The Irish Times reports that Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council approved the plans in the Cherrywood development.
The project, which will also consist of office and restaurant space will sit between Cabinteely and Loughlinstown.
The move, which also includes office and cafe space, is part of the largest single urban development project in the country.
It will be served by the adjacent Bride's Glen LUAS stop and Dublin Bus stop on site.
Residents will also have immediate access to nearby motorways - the M50 and M11.
