Ole Gunnar Solskjaer today expressed his relief at the demise of the failed breakaway Super League.
The Manchester United manager was speaking to the press ahead of this weekend's clash with Leeds at Elland Road.
"I am very happy that the fans have voiced their opinion and we have listened to them," he said.
🗣 "I'm so happy that all the clubs agreed this was a mistake."

"In a strange sort of way it has brought the football pyramid or community together. I think that is important, I am a supporter myself.
"There will be a day where I will come back and watch Manchester United and I want to watch a team with a fear of failure.
"That is what I thought about it, I didn't like the concept anyway because it has to be on sporting merit. I want to earn the right to play in Europe.
"We know we are pioneers and we have been in Europe for many many years. The Busby Babes were one part of it that and we want to be part of a successful European campaign again.
"Those best nights have been something that we have had to work really hard towards. To get that feeling, that fear of failure, you can't just be given it because you are given it on your name.
"You have to earn the right to be there and then to get the best p[ossibkle performance, I have always felt and believed in stepping out of your comfort zone. Being afraid of failure, that spurs you on, living on the edge a little bit.
"That was not part of this. For me, I am very happy that all of the clubs have admitted their mistake, and that this was a bad idea."
Solskjaer and Glazers
Solskjaer insisted he has a good relationship with the owners, despite the goings-on this week that led to the resignation of Ed Woodward.
"I have always had a good relationship with the owners. Behind the walls, we speak. Weare looking to move Manchester United forward. it is important that we all want to be better and improve.
"That is what my job is, to improve the results and performances of the team."
