Gardaí are investigating the discovery of partial skeletal remains at a housing estate in Dublin.
The remains were uncovered at Lissenfield on the Lower Rathmines Road yesterday evening.
The discovery was made during works on common ground.
It is believed they may have been there for some time.
In a statement Gardaí say an expert has been called in;
"A forensic anthropologist has visited the site and will continue his examinations along with members of the Garda Technical Bureau this morning."
The scene is currently preserved.
