Six puppies have been rescued from an industrial estate in Lucan.
The dogs, along with their mother, had been living in a ditch.
All rescued pups have been treated for Parvovirus - which can be fatal in dogs.
It took three days to catch the first three puppies, and the DSPCA says their mother is still on the loose because she's terrified of humans.
It says all the pups, who are approximately three months old are thankfully doing well, and have now gone out to foster homes for much needed human handling and interaction.
