What Joyful Joyful news! Sister Act The Musical is coming to Dublin in 2020.
Based on the hit 1992 film, the show will come to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from September 29th until October 4th.
The stage revival will feature original music by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken.
Ticketmaster announced the news on Instagram, writing:
"Based on the iconic movie, the smash-hit musical Sister Act comes to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from 29 September to 4 October."
Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 22nd via Ticketmaster.

Last month, Whoopi Goldberg announced that she will reprise her role as Deloris Van Cartier when the show comes to London's Eventim Apollo next year.
Jennifer Saunders will play the convent's Mother Superior in the newly adapted version of the hit musical.
The role was originally made famous by Dame Maggie Smith in the movie.

It's not known if Goldberg and Saunders will feature in the Dublin production of the show.
The musical tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a lounge singer placed on a witness protection programme which sees her forced to join a convent.
