There needs to be immediate action to stop Debenhams becoming the new Clerys, according to the Sinn Féin leader.
Mary Lou McDonald has called for government action to ensure the former Debenhams workers get the full redundancies they were promised.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said the staff have been treated badly and called on Debenhams to stick to their promises.
But Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald says more concrete action is needed: "There needs to be immediate intervention by the state and government.
"Because you will recall that in the case of Clerys at that time we all said that this could never happen again but it has so now is the time for immediate and effective action."
