Sinn Fein claims the privatisation of household waste collection in Dublin has been a disaster.
It'll call for it to be brought back into public ownership in a motion at next Monday's Dublin City Council meeting.
It says it's caused more illegal dumping and has led to more traffic jams on roads.
Sinn Fein Councillor Daithi Doolan says the city council needs to take control instead:
He says "We're saying we want Dublin City Council to take it back into public ownership, to regulate it and ensure that we've one service covering the city and that's controlled by Dublin City Council".
