A beautiful tribute!
Two of our biggest musicians that passed away last year were honoured at the Grammys over the weekend.
Like any award show, it featured an In Memoriam segment to honour those in the industry who died in the past 12 months.
Annie Lennox paid an emotional tribute to Sinead O’Connor as she took to the stage and sang a powerful rendition of Nothing Compares To You.

While Annie performed, the faces of music stars who had passed away in the last year appeared on screen behind her including Sinéad, who died last and Shane MacGowan, who passed away in November.
As the song came to an end, Annie raised her fist in the air and shouted “Artists for ceasefire! Peace in the world” in a call for an end to the war in Gaza.
Always known for never being afraid to speak her mind and speak out against injustices in the world, we’re sure Sinead O’Connor would have approved of this tribute ❤
