Simon Cowell has told Ellen DeGeneres that Lauren Silverman is not a gold-digger! She is expecting Simon's first child and he has admitted he's finally gotten over the shock of becoming a dad!
It was all a bit awkward for both parties as Lauren was still married to Simon's friend when they got together. She's now fast tracked her divorce and is completely single.
He has said when he got the call at first he was excited but knew it would be a nightmare as it was an uncomfortable situation but everything is calm and fine now. He says “I can't blame the media because it was a juicy but there was a lot of things said about Lauren like she was a gold-digger and she trapped me but that's nonsense”.
