Who is going to be this generation’s Harry Styles?
Simon Cowell is launching a search to find the next big boyband.
The music mogul is credited with the global success of One Direction and now he’s looking to reach those heights all over again.
Simon Cowell needs YOU 🫵🏼
…instead of a talent show, Simon Cowell is going to form “the next generations global boy band” in a documentary, and is looking for applicants aged 16-18 who can sing and dance and ‘want to be the next One Direction’ https://t.co/iXVRDakuVr pic.twitter.com/fj6CfZbCVS

“I would pray to find a band as good as One Direction and to find the records as good as they made, there are so many factors involved to make a band successful all over the world,” the former X-Factor judge told AP.
“You can't fake this, even though I'm the one going out to do the auditions, it really depends on the individuals. If you find the right people I'm not someone who says dress like this, say this, do this, it is just not my style and I never once did that with One Direction,” he continued.
The search begins in Liverpool as Simon has scheduled in the 7th and 8th of July to host the early auditions. He’s also arranged dates in London, Newcastle and Dublin.
It seems like he's returning to a Popstars format with this auditioning process, with the auditions being filmed in front of a small judging panel in a documentary style rather than in front of a large crowd.
So, are you or someone you know the next Niall Horan?
Simon is seeking talented males aged 16-18 who possess the passion, charisma, and star quality to form the next boyband sensation.
You can sign up for the auditions from now until July 31 at: simonneedsyou.com
