Show Dogs was the most complained about movie in Ireland last year.

Two of the six complaints were made by people who hadn't seen the film.

The Irish Film Classification Office agreed the comedy shouldn't have been rated PG.

The movie, starring Will Arnett and Shaquille O'Neill, was classified as having "Mild violence, language and rude humour".

However, not every who watched it - and even two who hadn't - felt that was suitable.

The IFCO issued age certificates for 448 films for cinema release in Ireland last year.

There were just two appeals made about the age certificates given for movies in 2018.

Complaints were made about The First Purge being 18s, and Bumblebee being a 12A.

The Irish Film Classification Office has launched a new website, which lists all movies currently out in Ireland.

As well as including age ratings, it will give genre details and provide a guide to any violence, drugs, sex, nudity and bad language.
