Hundreds of pupils at a Dublin school may have to move to allow repairs on their building.
Scoil Chaitlín Maude is one of a number of schools where structural and fire safety issues were uncovered last year.
Remedial works have been carried out on Scoil Chaitlín Maude here in Tallaght for the last year.
Repairs, including fire safety and upgrade, works continued over the summer but the school has been told it may need to relocate to allow the work to be completed.
That could take up to 18 weeks, with pupils facing the prospect of working out of another school 5 kilometres away.
Parents are expected to get an update on the plans in the coming weeks, with a possible move on the cards in late November.
