The new Batman has officially been cast. Robert Pattinson is the new caped crusader, according to Deadline.
It's understood the Twilight actor will be the star of The Batman, the trilogy of films that Matt Reeves will direct later this year.
Reeves' films will reportedly follow the journey of a young Bruce Wayne in the formative years of Batman.
Deadline reports Warner Bros were torn between the Harry Potter star and Nicholas Hoult.
The upcoming superhero film will hit cinemas on June 25th 2021.
The Dark Knight was last portrayed by Ben Affleck in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad,” and “Justice League.”
