Tax changes to favour small landlords could help to boost the supply of rental properties available to low or middle income tenants.
That's according to Threshold, after the revelations that the supply of homes to rent available is at it's lowest level in 13 years.
Ireland's current supply for rental properties stands at just 2, 700.
The latest Daft.ie report also found that prices have increased by over 8 percent on last year.
