Nelly is asking a US court to dismiss a British woman's claim that he sexually assaulted her after a concert in Essex.
The woman accuses him of assaulting her in a dressing room at The Cliffs Pavilion in Southend in December 2017.
The 44 year old rapper has not been criminally charged and denies the allegations.
