Members of the beauty industry have warned clients against inviting therapists into their homes to carry out treatments.
Concern has been raised about the number of therapists who are offering to do home visits.
Most clinics have closed as the country attempts to stop the spread of Covid-19, and they won't reopen until the situation is under control.
Due to the nature of the work being carried out, it's impossible to maintain social-distancing while injecting botox and fillers.
Aesthetic nurse and practitioner Kerry Hannaphy says doing a home job is not worth the risk;
"It is not essential for survival for you to have no wrinkles or to have big lips, it's very important people see that as a fact."
She says treatments can be done once the virus is under control.
