A public meeting has been organised over plans to turn a former car dealership in south Dublin into a co-living development.
Plans for the 201 bed-space scheme on Harold's Cross Road have been lodged with An Bord Pleanala.
The 5-storey block would replace the Kenilworth Motors building, which has sat idle for a number of years.

Peter Dooley from the Dublin Renters Union says shared living was a bad idea before the pandemic but is now "unconscionable" and should be stopped;
"The locals are absolutely up in arms over it and I think a lot of people are, as campaigners we are too obviously in terms of co-living developments. We would argue it's akin to modern day tenement living and just essentially putting people into worker's cells, giving tenants no long term protection."
The meeting will take place at 7pm this evening at the site.
