A small group of protesters has gathered outside the home of the Communications Minister Richard Bruton.
The group appear to be part of the same organisation that targeted the Minister for Health Simon Harris this day last week.
A different group gathered outside the Taoiseach’s home last night.
In a video posted to Facebook, the ‘Fingal Battalion direct Action Group’ said members were protesting against the imposition of a carbon tax.
They labelled Minister Bruton “another pillar in this Fine Gael-led failed free state.”
They are holding banners reading “bring it their doors.”
Yesterday, Minster Harris labelled last week’s incident as a “clear attempt to intimidate me and my neighbours.”
He said the protesters had followed his wife home to find out where he lived.
Speaking on RTÉ Radio he said: “I think it was intimidation and thuggery.”
“Imagine being in your house on a Sunday afternoon and feeling that you can’t leave?” he asked.
“My wife is not a public figure. My three week old baby is not a public figure.”
