President Donald Trump has been nominated for a 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.
The nomination acknowledges his efforts to broker peace deal between Israel and the UAE.
According to Fox News, his name was put forward by Norwegian politician Christian Tybring-Gjedd.
Speaking to the station Tybring-Gjedd said, "For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees."
On the 13th August the White House announced a deal which saw the Gulf state agreed to normal relations with Israel
In addition, Israel agreed to continue to suspend its annexation of the West Bank.
A signing ceremony, hosted by President Trump, will follow on 15th September.

Once all names have been put forward a shortlist will be created.
