Sophie Ellis-Bextor Joins The Big Breakfast To Chat Home Lockdown Gigs
Sophie Ellis-Bextor has been killing it in the kitchen with her home discos and live gigs every Friday which she has been livestreaming. It came as a result of feeling useless at the start of lockdown, then her husband Richard suggested they play house gigs. They became an instant success garnering thousand of views.
When asked where she gets her inspiration for her outfits she said Rosa Bloom for festival wear, but that she is a magpie and looks for old circus outfits and ice-skating uniforms.
She told the Big Breakfast ''Dance music and house music was totally alien to me'' before she created the track groovejet.
She is coming to Dublin on tour next year in November in Ireland along with Steps.
She spoke about the marmalade incident on BBC and how she felt ''white hot embarassment'' when her son shouted out that '' Marmalade was trash'' while she was on live TV.
