Spice Girl Melanie C joined Rebecca and Brendan on 98FM's Big Breakfast this morning.
Sporty Spice is getting ready to release her brand new self-titled album, 'Melanie C' on October 2nd.
Mel says she has found self-acceptance with this record.
"I think we go through our lives trying to find ourselves and then I feel very lucky. I'm 46 years young and I'm finally going: Do you know what? I don't need to find myself because I'm here where I started.
"I think a lot of that was being back on stage with the Spice Girls last year. It was so lovely to be Sporty again. It just made me realise what a massive part of my life that is.
"I want to embrace every aspect of myself and I want to encourage everybody to do the same", she added.
Spice Girls
Rebecca and Brendan both had a ball when the Spice Girls opened their reunion tour in Dublin last year. Melanie C says it was "perfect" starting in Croke Park.
"We just knew that whenever you play in Ireland you're going to have a great night. The audiences are always wonderful. But we were so nervous and we came up through the stage on that first night and the amount of love and excitement that was in the crowd, it just carried us through those first-night nerves."
Melanie also revealed she missed the Spice Girls after-party that night because she pulled her hamstring during the first song, something she describes as "the problems of being Sporty".
Will There Be Another Spice Girls Tour?
Melanie C confirmed that more Spice Girls gigs are on the cards.
"I would have liked to have had dates for this year but with the way this year has turned out - thank goodness we didn't.
"It's almost like 2020 is cancelled so it might be a little while before you see the Spice Girls back on stage but we definitely would love to.
Baked Potatoes & Spice Bags
During the interview, Melanie C explained by baked potatoes mean so much to Geri Halliwell.
The food chat didn't end there. Rebecca and Brendan explained what a Spice Bag is to Sporty and she reckoned it could be a great new name for the legendary girl band.
"I was just thinking it could be a good rebranding for the Spice Girls by the time we get back out on tour", she joked.
