Ever heard of Ireland's first aeronaut?
France saw the first manned hot air balloon flight in the world in 1783 but did you know less than two years later it was Ireland's turn to make history?
Richard Crosbie's balloon took off from a tiny park in Ranelagh, making him the country's first aeronaut.
Emma Tyrrell spoke to Dublin city council historian Cormac Moore and Eoghan Corry from Travel Extra to find out more.
