Started by Rebecca Prince-Ruiz and a small team in local government in Western Australia, Plastic Free July is now one of the most influential environmental campaigns in the world.
Challenge participants give up plastic for the full month, to reduce their household waste and change their plastic consumption habits over all.

Small Changes
Based in Drumcondra and Inchicore, Small Changes is a local grocer with a zero waste
ethos, open seven days a week.
With loose dry and fresh goods and an eco-friendly household refill station, customers can bring their own containers and buy as little or as much product as they need.
The Good Neighbour
The Good Neighbour is a new zero waste store in Dundrum, offering customers an easy way to shop packaging-free.
You can shop click and collect or order for delivery Monday to Wednesday.
The Source Bulk Food
The Source Bulk Food has been open since 2019 in Rathmines.
Shop for everything, from pantry essentials, to confectionary to pet necessessities - all zero waste.
reuzi
Founded by Pat Kane following the birth of her children, reuzi aims to encourage minimal waste living.
Having previously popped up in Brown Thomas, people can now shop online or from their store in Foxrock.
noms
noms of Phibsborough boasts an impressive array of goods made in store, from vegan baked goods, to hummus and harissa, to their own brand of kombucha.
You can also order for delivery in Dublin and beyond.
