Planning approval for more than 1,400 new homes in South Dublin is set to be cancelled after developments in the case of the former An Bord Pleanala official Paul Hyde.
Yesterday, it was announced that the former deputy chairman of the board would face criminal prosecution as part of an investigation into alleged conflicts of interest.
Now the Irish Times reports that large apartment schemes in Killiney, Blackrock and Milltown will not go ahead following ABP's decision not to move forward with judicial reviews related to them.
A spokesperson for the board says the concessions were made last week and not related in any shape or form to the process before the DPP.
Mr Hyde is facing charges under the Planning and Development Act in relation to allegations that he gave false particulars to the authority and has denied any wrongdoing.
