His star is only rising higher and higher!
TIME Magazine released their list of the Top 100 Next Influential People this week, and our own Paul Mescal has made the cut.
The prestigious list always highlights the rising stars across a number of different industries including business, entertainment, sports, politics, science and more.
The 27-year-old Kildare man found his name on the list alongside other promising young stars like The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey, RnB singer Ice Spice and Stranger Thing's star Maya Hawke.

Each individual who makes the list has a tribute written for them by someone in their industry and for Paul that was the one and only Colin Farrell, who had nothing but praise for the young actor.
"The first time I saw Paul perform, what moved me was his ability to stand in silence and take in the world around him so I could experience it through him. I was riveted, and it has been the same in every performance since."
He also praises the "indelible honesty" of Paul's work.
He concluded his note with: "It is the sincerity of his every word and gesture that makes me so excited for what he's yet to share with us."
Paul Mescal first rose to fame in 2020 following the international success of Sally Rooney's Normal People and he's only been on the up since.
This year he became an international household name when he was nominated for an Oscar for his leading role in Aftersun. He's starring in upcoming films All Of Us Strangers alongside Dublin actor Andrew Scott and Foe starring Saoirse Ronan.
