Passengers were left stranded on a DART train last night between Shankill and Bray.
The overhead power lines went on the Howth to Bray train meaning 40 passengers had to walk along the railway lines back to the platform.
Update:
DART services have resumed this morning between Greystones and Dalkey.
Repairs to the overhead lines completed overnight. Reduced capacity and delays of approximately 10 minutes are expected on some DART services.

Local TD and Minister Simon Harris has called for a full investigation to be carried out by Irish Rail.
He described the incident as "unacceptable and dangerous".
But Jane Creegan from Irish Rail says there was no safety issue and the walk was just 30 metres.
A bus was waiting for the passengers to take them on to their destination. 18 people availed of this while the rest made other arrangements.
