23 people suspected of paying for sex have been stopped and spoken to by Gardai.
Two days of action were carried out last week, as part of Operation Quest.
Last Thursday and Friday, Gardai in eight areas across the country stopped people suspected of paying for sex.
In total, 23 people were spoken with in Dublin, Waterford, Cork City, Mayo, Sligo and Louth.
It follows a number of recent arrests by officers investigating attacks on sex workers, mainly in Dublin.
Gardai say they want to end the demand for prostitution and protect victims of human trafficking.
They're warning more stop and search days will be carried out throughout 2020.
