A female is in hospital after they were rescued from the River Liffey at Custom House Quay.
Members of Dublin Fire Brigade from Tara Street and Phibsborough arrived to help.
While they also deployed a rescue boat.
A spokesperson from Dublin City Council says the alarm was raised shortly after 14:30 today.
"Crews from Tara St and Phibsborough fire stations responded.
"Including firefighters trained as rescue swimmers."
"One of our rescue boats permanently moored on the Liffey also responded to the scene."
"A female was taken from the water and received treatment from firefighter/paramedics before removal to hospital."
One person has been taken from the River #Liffey and removed to hospital.
