Doctors are protesting in Dublin today. As a result a number of GP practices around the country will be closed.
It comes as psychiatric nurses are staging their second overtime ban today. It's in a row over pay and staff shortages.
Around 500 GPs will gather outside Leinster House later calling for the reversal of austerity-era cuts to primary care funding.
The National Association of General Practitioners says there's a recruitment crisis.
They say around half of new graduates are leaving the country.
The NGAP also says that many GPs are having to retire early, due to burnout.
They say the medical card system can no longer cope.
