Poor Nickelback, you wouldn't know where they're from now!
Hanna, the Canadian town where the band Nickelback are from, have decided they can no longer keep signs up telling visitors Nickelback are from there - due to health and safety regulations!

Apparently the signs are causing traffic problems and the major of the town - which has a population of roughly 2,500 - says the signs need to go.
"We’ve had a few close calls with people pulling over to the side of the road, and people getting out to take pictures when there’s no roadside pull-outs," Mayor Danny Povaschuk told CBC, a news outlet in Canada.
Not everyone is behind the decision to take the signs down however. Some residents believe the signs are very much a part of the town at this stage.
‘They’ve been up for so long, I just thought it was part of the community.’
It's not goodbye forever though! Apparently there are plans to erect a different sign somewhere else in the near future, while the old (dangerous!) signs will be memorialised in local museums.
