Xtra-Vision has been forced to pull a u-turn on a controversial idea customers claim was forcing them to spend more money.
The video chain says it'll no longer ask people who've pre-ordered an XBoxOne to buy an extra game before they can collect the console.
Following complaints, Xtra-Vision says it'll offer refunds to any customer who was forced to make an extra purchase, but didn't want to.
The National Consumer Agency says it contacted the company to let it know it was breaking consumer law.
Xtra-Vsion says it regrets "any upset or inconvenience that may have been caused to customers".
It has also confirmed that customers who have pre-ordered PlayStation 4 consoles will not have to purchase an additional game in order to receive their console.
