One in ten men working from home don't wear much more than underpants most of the time.

It's far less common among women, who are far more likely to wear pyjamas in the home office.

More than half admit to doing their day's work in bedwear -- 52% of men and 65% of women.

Pure Telecom commissioned the survey it also found that:

  • 40% of overall national respondents have experienced embarrassing episodes during work conference calls, from nude roommates, to rude comments caught on mic, to children misbehaving, to messy houses on show and more
  • 19% of overall national home working respondents claim to miss their colleagues, but not enough to make them want to return to the office
  • 14% of overall national respondents who have had an embarrassing experience were caught saying something rude when they thought the call was over or the mic was off
  • Bizarrely, 3% of overall national respondents admitted to working from the toilet on occasion

The survey found that 60% of Dublin respondents have worn their pyjama bottoms while working remotely at least occasionally, with 33% saying they do most of the time or always.
